Clemons Retro Player · Last updated 22 August 2026

Summary

Clemons Retro Player does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app contains no networking code at all.

What the app does not do

What stays on your device

The app stores a small amount of information locally, inside its own sandboxed container, so that it behaves the way you left it:

This information never leaves your device. Deleting the app removes it.

Access to your files

The app can only read music files that you explicitly choose — by opening them, dragging them in, or double-clicking them in Finder or the Files app. macOS and iOS grant access on a per-file basis, and the app stores security-scoped bookmarks so your playlist still works the next time you launch it. The app cannot browse your disk on its own.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
