Swedish Dice Hockey is made by one person, Henrik Johansson. There is no server behind the app, no account to create and no sign-in. Your books — the saved seasons, with every dice throw in them — are stored on your device and stay there. The app makes no network requests of its own at all. If you turn on iCloud, your books are copied between your own devices through your own iCloud account, and no further.
A book is a single file inside the app's own sandboxed container. It holds the season you are playing and every season before it:
Your keyboard shortcuts, language, sound and vibration settings are stored as ordinary app preferences on the device; which teams are yours is stored in the book itself. None of this is personal information, none of it leaves the device on my account, and I have no way to reach it.
The app can keep your books in step between your Mac, iPad and iPhone. It does that by putting the same files in the app's own iCloud container, inside your Apple Account. That is the only place they go.
The transfer is between you and Apple: I am not part of it, I receive nothing, and I cannot see what is in the container. Apple's handling of what is in your iCloud is covered by Apple's privacy policy. If iCloud is switched off for the app, or not available, the app works exactly as before with the local file only.
Deleting a book removes it from iCloud as well, and therefore from your other devices. That is deliberate, it is warned about before it happens, and it cannot be undone.
None. The app asks for no location, no camera, no microphone, no contacts and no notifications. It plays sound but never records any. The one file dialogue it opens is the system's own, and only when you choose to back a book up or restore one — the app sees only the file you point it at.
A backup is a copy of the book file, written wherever you choose to put it. If you choose iCloud Drive, the file is then with Apple under your own account and subject to Apple's terms. If you send the file to someone, you are the one sending it.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children, and is not directed at children.
The GDPR gives you the right to know what data about you is being processed, and to have it corrected or erased. Since I neither receive nor store any data about you, there is no record on my side to request or erase. You delete your books yourself in the app, or by removing it.
If you buy the app, Apple gives me the same aggregated sales and crash statistics every developer gets. It is anonymised and counted in totals — I cannot see who bought the app.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
